Fun at the Lane County Fair

Hey guys! This is going to be a photo-heavy post, so if that's not your thing - beware! I thought I'd mix things up a bit from my usual OOTD post and share some pics from the Lane County Fair that I went to a couple weeks ago with my dad and sister. It really is like an old school fair that you see in 50's era movies! There's clowns (shudder) a petting zoo, exotic animals (tigers, and lynxes, and ocelots - OH MY!), an art display (that's kind of unique to Eugene), tons of carnival rides, and of course a giant ferris wheel! My dad wasn't keen on the ferris wheel so I had to coerce my sister into riding it with me. :D

The ferris wheel was probably my favorite, but a VERY close second was all the animals on display. I nearly died when I saw all the prize-winning bunnies!

However, if you know me at all you would know that I am what I call a not-so-closeted-cat-lady. I'll readily admit it - I love all things feline! So when I saw that exotic cats were on display, honey, you know I'm there! It was the middle of a hot day, though, so most of them were tucked away in their little big-cat shelters. Plus, being short typically makes it really hard to see over all the tall people! But I did manage to get one awesome picture:
