I apologize for the title of this post, but I couldn't come up with anything really witty and I wanted to showcase the white jeans, which reminded me of the Ludacris (as in, the rapper of whom I have an unhealthy obsession, methinks) song, "My Chick Bad." Not really suited for the kiddies, lyrics wise, but oh-so addicting. Anyway, in the song Ludacris talks about an "all white top / all white belt / all white jeans / body looking like milk." So there you have it, haha. A play by play of how the title for this post came to be. Moving on.
Today's look is what I wore to tour the Oregon State University campus, where I'll be living/going to school this coming fall. (YAY!) The more I looked around and saw the culture, the more excited I am to jump right in to my major, Merchandise Management. I'll be taking some cool classes like Textile Design!
Oops! I just noticed my necklace is twisted in both the pictures. But you can see the real detail (and my boobs, har har) in the close up. I love how vintage it looks, despite being from F21. The length is perfect. And I love black and gold together. It's so timeless and classy. Every once and a while Forever21 surprises me with jewelry that looks way more expensive than it actually is. This is one such piece.

The gray pullover I will talk about in much greater detail in a later post, so I won't go into that other than to say I love how flattering it is. Also, it's a lot warmer than it looks.
Ah, those shoes. I've been on the hunt for a nice pair of black, waterproof (in Eugene, it's good if everything you have is waterproof) flats and I do believe I've finally found the holy grail; that magical trifecta of price, fit, and quality all rolled into Steve Madden's P-Heaven flats. Now, these bad boys would normally set you back about $60.00 bucks, but since I'm frugal I went on a mad search to find a cheaper solution. And boy did I find one! This was how I stumbled upon 6PM.com, one of my new favorite stores. It is a lot like Overstock.com in that they sell designer clothes/shoes/accessories at deeply discounted prices. So I got my pair of perfect black flats for only $35.99 (40% off the original price!). I only bought them a few months ago, but they're already starting to get worn out. I'll have to buy another pair soon, I think. But at that price, I might just stock up on a couple pairs! (Yes, I still say "pairs" instead of "pair" which seems to be how everyone is saying it these days. It drives me nuts! It's PAIRS of shoes!!!)
